Full Time Regular Faculty
Candidates must have a Ph.D. degree or its equivalent with first class in the preceding degree consistently good academic record, and commensurate publications/publication potential. The levels of teaching/research/industry experience required for the various positions are as mentioned below:
Eligibility requirements for the regular faculty
Assistant Professor: (15600-39100 + Academic Grade Pay (AGP) of 8000/-)
Ph. D. with first class or equivalent in the preceding degree in appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout.
Minimum 3 years’ industrial (Officer level)/post doctoral research/teaching experience (experience gained during Ph.D will NOT be counted).
Associate Professor: (37400-67000 + AGP of 9500/-)
Ph. D. with first class or equivalent in the preceding degree in appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout.
A minimum of six years teaching/Industry/Research experience, of which at least three years’ should be at the level of Assistant professors.
Professor: (37400-67000 + AGP of 10500/-)
Ph. D. with first class or equivalent in the preceding degree in appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout.
A minimum of 10 years experience of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor in IITs, IISc Bangalore, IIMs, NITIE Mumbai and IISERs or at an equivalent level in any such other Indian or foreign institution/institutions of comparable standards as may be so decided by the institute.
